Liam Chambers
Liam’s expertise lies in the area of digital product management and content delivery solutions; he has managed numerous product development, launch and marketing exercises for a succession of international content owners, including the three largest publishers in the world, Thomson, Reed Elsevier and Wolters Kluwer.
Over the past five years his projects have typically dealt with data, process integration and content discovery and delivery. His projects have won numerous awards including the Irish 2005 InsideGovernment award for an innovative bi-lingual integration project inside the Irish Parliament.
Since founding New Chapter, Liam has worked with clients such as CMPI publishing, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and a number of start-up firms to define product offerings and to take new products to market.
Clyde Hatter
Clyde began his career as a technical writer and trainer, moving to the design and implementation of document authoring applications in the mid-90s. These included SGML-based, single-source multi-output solutions. He has worked on a variety of SGML- and XML-based publication systems in business sectors that include pharmaceutical, retailing and telecoms.
Since 2002, Clyde has focused on working with parliaments and legislatures around the world.
In 2003, Clyde managed the design and implementation of an OpenOffice-based system for the drafting, amendment and translation of primary legislation (bills and acts) in the Irish Parliament Following the success of that project he consulted widely in the USA and Europe and was instrumental in evolving the product to meet the needs of an international audience.
Most recently Clyde designed and implemented an innovative Web 2.0 consolidated law service for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland as well as providing expert consulting to the Law Reform Commission which is tasked with restating the laws of Ireland.
He is a frequent speaker at industry events in the United States and Europe.
